The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) reported that PetroVietnam Finance Corp (PVFC) purchased 1,942,300 DPM coded shares, bringing its size in the Phu My Nitrogenous Fertiliser Joint Stock Co (PVFCo) to 8,100,860 shares between February 28 and April 30, 2008.
On May 15, DPM closed at 46,800 dong per share.

PetroVietnam Securities looks into financial options

PetroVietnam Securities Joint Stock Co continues to raise capital in its second phase as it plans to carry out one of two financial options.
With the first, the company could increase its charter capital to VND500 billion (US$31.2 million) and plan for revenue of VND200 billion, after-tax profits of VND72 billion and dividend payment of 11 per cent.
With the second, the company could maintain capital of VND150 billion and expect revenue of VND110 billion, after-tax profits of VND21 billion and dividends 10%, respectively.

PVFCCo and Morocco firm sign 600 mln USD fertiliser plant deal

PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo) and the Office Cherifien des Phosphates (OCP) of Morocco have signed an agreement to build a fertiliser plant valued at 600 million USD in the African country.
T he plant will be capable of producing from 660,000 to 1 million tonnes of diamonium phosphate (DAP) fertiliser to supply to Viet Nam and other regional markets, sources from the Viet Nam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) said on May 10.
The DAP plant, which will be built soon, is slated to begin operations by 2011, becoming Viet Nam ’s largest project invested abroad so far.
The agreement, signed in the witness of PetroVietnam Chairman Dinh La Thang and OCP Chairman Mostafa Terrab, also outlined a joint plan to build an ammoniac plant in Viet Nam or a third country if there are enough natural gas supplies for the project.
During their recent meeting at the OCP headquarters, both Thang and Terrab affirmed the resolve to successfully carry out the inked project, describing it as a symbol of cooperation between the two groups and a landmark in ties between Viet Nam and Morocco. (VNA)

PetroVietnam Drilling to pay 2007 dividend

PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Joint Stock Co (PV Drilling) recently announced that it would pay 2007 dividend of 18.51% in cash on May 30.
The registration deadline is on May 12.
The ex-interest date is on May 8.
PV Drilling plans to offer 20,027,946 ordinary shares at 10,000 dong par to the existing shareholders to pay dividend of 20% in shares on June 12.
